WHEN AND WHERE?
The Festival will take place from January 19 to 22, 2017 in Piedecuesta, Santander. Located 18 kilometers from Bucaramanga, Piedecuesta has a vibrant artistic and musical tradition, fueled by numerous characters and projects that have not had the visibility according to their talent and potential.
The Tigra Festival seeks to activate cultural scenarios such as the Daniel Mantilla Orbegozo cultural center, which has a central square and a recently adapted auditorium, the town's main park and the Kussi Huayra cultural house. For 4 days, The Festival will make you feel like Piedecuesta Roars.
WHAT IS IT?
The La Tigra - Piedecuesta Ruge Festival is a collective construction orchestrated by Edson Velandia, a Piedecuesta musician with great experience and recognition on the national and international music scene. For the first edition we convened musicians, managers, researchers and audiences with the aim of creating together, strengthening ties and energizing the music ecosystem at a regional level.
The festival proposes a program of concerts by artists and groups from Santander and some national guests of different genres and formats. As a complement to the presentations, spaces for exchange and learning will be available through a thematic series of workshops and work tables on various aspects of the music industry, in order to promote meetings and share tools that give greater projection and strength to the local scene.
